The coverage of Japan is making me very sad. I don't really know what else to say about it except that I and keeping those affected in my thoughts. I was especially worried when I heard about it because one of my childhood friends is currently living in Japan. Thankfully, she lives a few hundred miles away and it seems that she is safe. She still felt the earthquake, though, and her blog entry about it made me cry. I can't imagine what it would be like to go through something like that, especially since she's in a foreign country where she doesn't speak the language. I've been watching the BBC coverage of the disaster, and it's unimaginable. Unfortunately, we don't have to imagine it :(
