SPRING HAS SPRUNG (sorta)

Okay, not to make those back in my native Pennsylvania feel jealous or anything (well... maybe a little...) it was fifty-five degrees here today (fahrenheit... I can't figure out celcius) and I ate dinner outside.

Of course, something you have to understand is that Londoners eat outside in the dead of winter all the time. Everywhere you walk, restaurants have tons of outside tables. My friends and I always declared the outside eaters crazy, but we made the mistake of trying to go out to eat on a Saturday night, so basically our choice was eat outside or eat standing in the aisles of Tesco. And it was fifty-five degrees out.

When any hint of spring-y weather makes itself known, the Londoners seem to be like, "SPRING HAS SPRUNG! NO MORE JACKETS, GUYS! NO MORE TIGHTS! NO MORE ANYTHING TO KEEP YOU WARM! SPRING, SPRING, SPRING!" On Thursday, the first warm day here, they were mowing the grass. It seems weird to me, but I guess when March (or in this case, February) gets warm and you don't have snow left over, you can do that.

That's all I've got for today... just thought I'd come and tease you all at home ;p Tomorrow I'm going to the Chinese New Year celebration!
